Information Security Program Management
A team of senior project managers and data security specialists assisted a large retail bank’s Information Security team to deliver a range of projects supporting identity and access management, cyber operations and threat analysis. The projects involved both the gathering of metrics on which to report, establishing an ongoing process for reporting on the consolidated data and finally working with regulators to ensure compliance was achieved.
Enterprise-wide PMO Mobilization
The incoming CIO of a capital markets division of a major bank asked Mosaic to help him gain more controls around his project portfolio. Mosaic deployed a team of project specialists who designed and managed the implementation of division-wide project controls (deliverables, milestones, costs, issues, risks, dependencies), culminating in the production of a weekly dashboard for CIO review.
Cloud Migration Strategy
A Mosaic team developed a plan to migrate a portfolio of data and compute intensive applications from on-premises dedicated hardware to a hosted, private-cloud based infrastructure; and consolidated the overall cost savings and cost profiles to establish a priority for the implementation.
Private Banking Trading Platform Migration
After the merger of two universal banks, Mosaic deployed a team of five consultants into the private banking IT group, to lead various workstreams to migrate away from the legacy trade processing platform for the combined entity’s private client business.
Regulatory Project Management: Dodd-Frank, Volcker, tax regulations, MIFID and others
In response to an increasingly large regulatory workload, the capital markets division of a universal bank asked Mosaic to deploy multiple teams of project managers, business analysts and regulatory SMEs over multiple years to assist with the impact assessment, solution design, implementation and operation of a number of processes to satisfy a number of regulations introduced in the US and UK in response to the 2007-8 global financial crisis.
